You may not know this, but our favorite color for Christmas isn’t red, green or yellow. The baby blue is actually a shade of baby blue. It makes us think of ice and snow, plus it’s so pretty to look at—in any and every form.
This post is about fall but since it’s just before winter and winter technically doesn’t begin until late December, why wait to wear baby blue?
Here are some of our suggestions on how you can do just that…
1. Baby blue sweater with distressed jeans and white tank
Is it possible that you’re sitting on the back porch drinking apple cider and enjoying a warm drink for the very first time? It’s a simple look—a baby blue sweater, white tank and distressed jeans along with some tan suede boots—but it’s a really pretty one. It’s very casual.
2. Taupe sweater with light blue jeans, and baby blue scarf
It’s not necessary to wear baby blue as your main article of clothing. Although technically, it is in this case because the jeans are also baby blue. Accessorize it with a baby-blue scarf or purse with a blue trim.
3. Baby blue cardigan, brown skirt and plaid top
If you’re going to be wearing sandals on a mild day, wear a tank and a skirt with a baby-blue cardigan. You’ll look like the poster child of the best parts of fall if the other colors (like the one above) are neutral.

This is definitely one of the looks we love most, not only for fall but also in general. The combination of grey and baby blue is so beautiful. When it comes to fall shopping, you can find a grey cardigan that will go well with the grey wide-leg pant that you may already own. Underneath, wear a baby blue top and add some accessories in baby blue.
5. Grey jeans, a baby blue turtleneck and a grey jacket
According to us, every woman needs one of these baby blue turtlenecks. It’s just a…sweet look for fall (and winter too). If you want to avoid going “baby-blue overboard”, use variations of other shades of blue or grey.
6. Baby blue coat and white leggings with baby blue rainboots
Some fall days can be a bit messy. It’s all because of the rainy, gloomy weather. And so, if the forecast does call for inclement weather and you want to protect your feet from the slush ‘n stuff, you can do so with the help of some rain boots. Rain boots don’t even have to look bad. Find some in a color that is not typical, like baby blue. Imagine how stunning you will look wearing them with a matching white or grey coat and white leggings.

It might sound a little…off if you were told that baby-blue looks good with black leggings (tan ?!?) purse, it might sound a bit…off. Some outfit concepts aren’t as effective unless they are seen in real life. All four colors work really well with each other, according to us. What about you?

It is a plain, white blouse. The Plain. Cognac and baby blue will add a nice touch. This is a great tip: If your shirt lacks shape, then make sure you have a pencil skirt and blazer that do. This will give your body a bit of definition.
